Finished! My First Herringbone Knit Beanie

It's finally finished and it's beautiful and feels very comfortable to wear. I am so glad I did the longer ribbing and chose the Lion Brand Re-Spun yarn.
If you would like to make a similar hat with the same kind of yarn, you should buy your yarn now. Lion Brand has broken my heart by announcing that this yarn is being discontinued.
I will probably make another Herringbone Knit Beanie by the beginning of Autumn.
I will choose colors that vibe with the scarves I've made and will make this year. I definitely think I chose a winning color combination with this lovely heathered shade called "Blush". I saw some of the yarn in this shade and a few others in a local store recently. But, to reiterate, Lion Brand has discontinued their Re-Spun Yarn for some strange reason; so, get it while supplies last.
I made a swatch sample before deciding on the colorway and stitch pattern. As I mentioned in my last blog, I designed the hat before beginning to insure it came out as I envisioned.
I really like how the herringbone knit beanie looks with the last Mosaic Knit Plaid scarf I created. What do you think?
