My Long Absence

Back in early October there was a fire at my home and I was displaced for approximately 3 weeks. The displacement not only took me out of my normal routine, it also further damaged my health.

Once I was home, I had difficulty resuming my exercise routine because, although I now had the needed equipment, I was significantly weaker and my neuropathy had gotten much much worse. So, I began slow and steady. I had no real choice. But going slow and steady was very effective.

It took about a month to get back in my fitness groove; I was feeling much less pain and discomfort and began creating short-term projects. Most of these projects were remakes and variations of designs I have created in the past. All of these projects were knitted - Christmas gifts for my relatives. Here are a few pics of the works in progress and even a completed item.

Now that I am feeling better, I will try to keep the blog up to date and share my works in progress on a regular basis. No promises regarding how often.

Happy New Year!
