What's On My Needles This Week - 2/9/2026

I started on the hat to go with the zigzag scarf (I still need to decide on a name for that design). There's no pattern for this hat yet.

I'm making up the design as I go. I only know that it will be a beret, as requested. The yarn used is JoAnn’s Big Twist Value in Cerulean. 🙂

I practiced the stitch before beginning, and I believe the hat is coming along very nicely and rather quickly too.

This is the sample I created before starting the actual hat.

I wanted to make sure that I could increase and decrease as needed to create the necessary shape.

What it looks like today. The beret should be finished by the weekend.

I hope the finished beret fits well and my cousin likes it. 🤞🏾🙏🏾
